OneBuckQR is designed to collect as little information as practical. There is no password-based account system.
The address you enter is used in your browser to create your QR and is kept temporarily in your browser during checkout. We do not intentionally maintain a customer database of submitted destination links.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect payment, device, fraud-prevention and contact information according to its own practices. OneBuckQR does not receive or store your full card number. For multi-credit purchases, your email address and remaining credit balance are associated with your Stripe customer record so you can recover unused credits later.
If you request credit recovery, your email address is used to send a short-lived secure recovery link. We do not use that recovery request for marketing.
Our hosting, payment and email providers may create ordinary technical logs for security, reliability, delivery and fraud prevention.
